Using MS Business Server, we have created a software/server platform that can be used quickly and individually in any project. Neither extensive training nor the project-wide installation of new software is necessary. On the user side, all that is needed are the usual Internet browsers as communication tools and Office tools, as already installed in your company.
The particular advantages are as follows:
- Project participants are automatically notified of the latest planning status and all messages and files by e-mail via their Internet repository.
- Integrated workflow components
- The database allows you to search for keywords in all exchanged documents.
- Planning statuses, protocols, schedules, etc. can be sent to all planning participants or different groups simultaneously with a click of the mouse.
- Via the internet/intranet you have secure access to your complete project data worldwide and, thanks to a clear menu structure (project manual), you always have access to your latest documents.
- At the end of the project, the time-consuming documentation is considerably simplified by pre-structured data. The CDROM long-term archive offers you a much better management level for your documents than conventional archiving methods.
- Project calendar with connection to MS Outlook
