Background

The Lufthansa Aviation Center at Frankfurt Airport, a new administration building consisting of ten office complexes, the "fingers", connected by a central building wing, is a prime example of modern, efficient office architecture. GBM-Essen played a decisive role in the planning and optimization of the construction process, paying particular attention to the technical building equipment. This commitment ensured the seamless integration of the complex technical systems into the sophisticated architecture, which is not only economically and ecologically convincing, but also offers a future-oriented working environment for the Lufthansa Group's employees. The large glass façades and glass roofs frame the interior atriums and create a bright, inviting atmosphere that blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior space.
