Master of Engineering Hagen Reimers

Born in 1992, Hagen Reimers combines sound engineering expertise with a clear view of the digital future in construction and pharmaceutical project management. After completing his Bachelor's degree in Business Architecture, he deepened his expertise with a Master of Engineering in Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM). His master's thesis was awarded the badge of honor; in it, he developed analysis models with which the time-dependent expected value in merged schedules can be evaluated - a practical contribution to reliable project scheduling. As an honorary graduate of FH Aachen and member of the Chamber of Civil Engineers, Hagen is actively involved in professional committees. In particular in the "Digitalization and BIM" working group of the Association of Consulting Engineers, to whose constituent meeting he has already contributed impulses. This commitment reflects his aspiration to not only apply standards, but to help shape them. Hagen has been part of GBM-Essen for eleven years. He is responsible for our digital infrastructure, drives (app) and general software development and thus strengthens the efficiency of project management. His tasks also include the processing of applications, the implementation and monitoring of procurement procedures, the further development of our IT security architectures and the design and implementation of internal training courses. Wherever recurring work steps could slow down projects, he establishes automation solutions - lean, secure and audit-proof. In his day-to-day work, Hagen combines a deep technical understanding with organizational clarity and the application of modern solutions. In this way, he creates the digital foundation on which our interdisciplinary teams in the construction and pharmaceutical sectors can reliably plan, control and deliver. With his career, his commitment to chamber and association work and his passion for sophisticated automation, Hagen Reimers shapes the culture of innovation at GBM-Essen - and makes complex projects a little easier, more transparent and safer every day.
